Mylar® MO21 Film

Mylar® MO21 thick-gauge polyester films have excellent dielectric properties which make them ideal for insulation in motor and generator end uses, including slot liners, wedges, and phase insulation. These films also offer exceptional cut-through resistance, low shrinkage, low moisture absorption, and high thermal durability. Product uniformity enhances processing on automatic slot and wedge insertion equipment. They are also frequently used in hermetic motor/compressor sealed units, fractional horsepower motors, diaphragms, and industrial laminations. Available in 7.5, 9, 10, 12, and 14 mil thicknesses, or in a 5 mil thickness in the form of Mylar® MO.
