Plastic Film Coating

Building on our position as a converter and distributor of high-end plastic films, Tekra adds value and functionality by applying a variety of proprietary coatings to plastic substrates. In addition to our standard coating capabilities, we can also provide project coating, toll coating, and other coating services on one of our three coaters using either Tekra supplied or customer supplied materials. For maximum process integrity, our coaters are enclosed in white room and Class 10,000 clean room conditions.

Since the installation of our first coating line in 1984, Tekra has been a worldwide leader in coated plastics. Whether it is a print receptive coating, a functional coating, or a coating to enhance product appearance, our coatings allow customers to do more with plastic than they ever thought possible. Successful brands like Marnot and Terrapin have paved the way for newer products such as Dura-Go and JetView. This continued focus on innovation elevates coated plastics to the next level of quality and performance.

Tekra recently added a new product Anti-Glare AM Economy Polyester film to provide affordable antimicrobial protection for customer contact points such as key pads and credit card machines. In addition, Tekra offers a side range of Polyester Films with scratch and abrasion Resistance.
