Mylar® MO Film

Mylar® MO polyester film has excellent dielectric properties which make it ideal for insulation in motor and generator end uses, including slot liners, wedges, and phase insulation. This film also offers exceptional cut-through resistance, low shrinkage, low moisture absorption, and high thermal durability. Its product uniformity enhances processing on automatic slot and wedge insertion equipment. It is also frequently used in hermetic motor/compressor sealed units, fractional horsepower motors, diaphragms, and industrial laminations. Available in 5 mil thickness, or in thicker gauges in the form of Mylar® MO21.
