Mylar® EL Film

Mylar® EL thin-gauge polyester films' excellent dielectric strength, chemical and moisture resistance, thermal stability, and physical toughness make them a very versatile and functional insulating material for general purpose electrical/electronic applications. They are flexible, strong, and durable with an unusual balance of properties, making them suitable for a variety of industrial applications as well. Available in 0.48 through 5 mil thicknesses, they also have good handling and winding characteristics which make them especially suitable for coating, die cutting, embossing, and laminating operations. It is available in thicker gauges in the form of Mylar® EL21.
