Mylar® EL21 Film

Mylar® EL21 thick-gauge polyester films’ excellent dielectric strength, chemical and moisture resistance, thermal stability, and physical toughness make them a very versatile and functional insulating material for general purpose electrical/electronic applications. They are flexible, strong, and durable with an unusual balance of properties, making them suitable for a variety of industrial applications as well. Available in 7.5, 9, 10, and 14 mil thicknesses, these films are often used for transformers, laminates, bus bars, and punched parts. It is available in thinner gauges in the form of Mylar® EL.
