Melinex® 238

Melinex® 238 low-oligomer, translucent white polyester PET film for hermetic motor insulation

Melinex® 238 is a translucent white polyester PET film with low oligomer properties used as electrical insulation for hermetic compressor motor applications. Its continuous use temperature (RTI) is between 125°-130°C depending on thickness, which ranges from 3 mil to 14 mil.
