One of Tekra’s top suppliers, DuPont Teijin Films™ unveiled its global rebranding initiative highlighted by a change in name from DuPont Teijin Films™ to Mylar® Specialty Films. The new name represents a positive forward-looking vision as they build on their company's strong history and move forward into their eighth decade of supplying world class differentiated polyester films to customers.

The company ownership remains unchanged being a joint venture between Celanese and Teijin, and the company will continue to market the Melinex® PET, and Kaladex® PEN range of products in addition to Mylar® PET branded films. The company will continue to manufacture polyester products that offer exceptional optical clarity, brilliant white pearlescence, adaptability to harsh environments, dimensional stability, and consistent quality.
