Melinex® ST506 is a crystal clear, high gloss, heat stabilized polyester film with excellent shrink resistance for high processing temperatures. It is pretreated on both sides for improved adhesion to a wide range of solvent-based graphic inks and varnishes, silver conductive and dielectric inks. It is ideally suited for graphic and certain circuitry layers in membrane switches and other flexible electronics applications.
Melinex® ST506 and other heat-stabilized PET films are compatible with Henkel LOCTITE® brand conductive and dielectric inks. The film’s low shrinkage properties improve yield efficiencies even at high cure temperatures.
