Kaladex® 2000L

Image of Kaladex® 2000L hazy, annealed PEN film

Kaladex® 2000L hazy, annealed polyester PEN film offers improved shrink properties compared to Kaladex® 2000.

Kaladex® is a polyethylene-naphthalate (PEN) film manufactured by DuPont Teijin Films™. Originally introduced in 1992, Kaladex® PEN film is better equipped for harsh environment applications than traditional PET and has many superior properties such as strength, heat resistance, anti-hydrolysis, dimensional stability, low oligomer extraction, etc. It also serves as a cost-effective alternative to specialty engineered films like polyimides. Kaladex® is used for high density data storage tapes, IC card, optical applications, FPC, automotive applications, and electronic components such as capacitors, electric insulation, and batteries.
