New Berlin, WI – Tekra, a Mativ brand, will be showcasing for the first time at this years ‘MD&M’ show in Anaheim, CA. They will be showcasing in the plastics sector, previously known as “Plastec West”. Centered around their medical films and adhesives, Tekra is planning to display an array of options to appeal to a wide range of markets and applications. “We serve a large segment of the medical community at Tekra, offering everything from films for device overlays to polyester medical strips, and skin-contact adhesives,” states Rebecca Fuhrman, Manager of Market Development at Tekra.
Some products they plan to feature include: Solventum and 3M™ Medical Tapes, LEXAN™ 8040 and 8B45 Polycarbonate, and Mylar® Specialty Films heat stabilized products. Additionally, they will be featuring their sister company, Trient, a converter in northern WI, who services the medical community with a state-of-the-art medical grade clean room and ISO13485 certification. “Trient has a lot to offer with converting capabilities that go beyond what Tekra is often able to accomodate, including slit rolls down to .030” in width,” continues Fuhrman.
