New Berlin WI - Tekra has recently added a new product to their Marnot® line of plastic films that offers antimicrobial film protection from bacterial growth on surfaces. This material offers the same antimicrobial properties as their other polyester and polycarbonate plastics in this line, but allows for a more affordable option for applications with less demanding processing. “This material offers an anti-glare property making it a great choice for key pads on credit card machines, while also inhibiting bacterial growth on the surface as multiple people touch the film,” states Rebecca Fuhrman, Market Development Manager at Tekra. “The anti-scratch and chemical resistance of this film give added assurance that it will stand up to high-traffic areas so a customer can be sure their stores and facilities will continue to look clean and well-maintained,” continues Fuhrman.
Marnot Anti-Glare/ AM Economy Polyester is printable up to 4 passes with UV curing, allowing for logos or small signage to be printed. “With all of the partitions going up, taking advantage of that new surface for advertising or customer communication is a great way to turn an inconvenient situation into a positive one,” continues Fuhrman.
Tekra’s new Marnot® Anti-Glare/AM Economy Polyester is available in 3, 5 and 7 mil thicknesses. For more information please visit www.tekra.com.
