New Berlin, WI - 3M™ Low VOC Tapes with Acrylic Adhesive are now available at Tekra. The new tapes are designed to help meet the demand, primarily driven by increasing government regulations, for lower VOC thin attachment tapes. 3M has two versions available in the new line: 3M™ Low VOC Scrim Reinforced Transfer Tape 98010LVC and 3M™ Low VOC Double coated Tissue Tape 99015LVC. Both products were designed to meet the emissions standards measured by the Japanese Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) and The German Association of the Automotive Industry (Verband der Duetschen Automobilindustrie) (VDA278) and are ideal for automotive interior applications. These standards set and measure limits for vehicle indoor air quality (VIAQ) as well as volatile organic compound (VOC) and emissions. Sample applications include:
