Melinex® FR241

MELINEX® FR241 is a novel halogen-free, low haze VTM-0 PET polyester film from DuPont Teijin Films™. MELINEX® FR241 provides improved safety by combining VTM-0 flame retardancy with inherent PET polyester film properties. It is pretreated on one side for adhesion promotion, while its counterpart MELINEX® FR240 is untreated on both sides. The untreated MELINEX® FR240 has received VTM-0 flame rating certification from UL’s UL94 Standard for Tests for Flammability of Plastic Materials for Parts in Devices and Appliances. Based on internal flame test results, it is anticipated the MELINEX® FR241 will also achieve this same VTM-0 flame rating.
