Protective & Textured Hardcoats

Since the installation of our first hardcoat plastic film coating line in 1984, Tekra has brought value to our customers by placing a range of specially designed protective hardcoats on plastic substrates such as polyester and polycarbonate.

Tekra's plastic film coating brands include Marnot ®, Marnot Advanced™, and ProTek ® for nameplates, membrane touch switches and lenses; and Terrapin® for flat panel and LCD display protection.

Hardcoat Overlaminate Primary Function and Benefits

Tekra also offers hardcoated overlaminates whose primary function is to protect underlying images from

• Scratching 
• Marring
• Tearing 

These, as with all our other coatings, can come in a number of different gloss levels, and can be specially designed for your particular application.
