ToneKote™
ToneKote™ is Tekra's specially treated substrate brand optimized for use on dry toner based systems. When applied to a variety of substrates, our toner receptive coating greatly enhances and preserves toner adhesion with high color definition.
Tekra's line of ToneKote™ products provides tear resistance, water and dirt resistance, and durability. With improved longevity, signage and other point-of-purchase applications can now be replaced less frequently, resulting in cost savings for the end-user. Currently, the ToneKote™ line includes polyester, rigid vinyl (PVC), static cling, and label products.
These materials have successfully printed on the Xerox iGen3 and other similiar technologies. However, due to the various types of toner equipment, Tekra strongly recommends that these products are tested through your complete manufacturing process. Tekra is happy to provide free ToneKote™ samples for testing purposes.
