Building on our position as a converter and distributor of high-end plastic films, Tekra adds value and functionality by applying a variety of proprietary coatings to plastic substrates on one or both sides. We can also provide project coating, toll coating, and other coating services using either Tekra or customer supplied specialty substrates. By using our coatings, customers find they can frequently do more with plastic than they ever thought possible — whether it's a print receptive coating, a functional coating or a coating to enhance product appearance.
With pre-engineered products like Marnot® and Terrapin™, Tekra has held a leading position in coated plastics worldwide since the installation of our first coating line in 1984. Through newer products such as Dura-Go®, ProTek®, DuraKote™ and additions to our Terrapin line, we are elevating coated plastics to the next level of quality and performance.
